Below is the joint statement by President of Guatemala Alejandro Giammattei and the Prime Minister of Belize John Briceño. This historic event marks the first visit of a Belizean Prime Minister in Guatemala, and also marks the efforts being made to resolve the Belizean–Guatemalan territorial dispute.
